Looking at my daily work, I noticed that most of us work -more or less simultaneously- with different people on different topics throughout the day. For example, in the morning, I attend our team’s daily standup. Later I work on a project for another department. Then I attend the cross-functional product management team. After lunch we gather to discuss the sales numbers with the sales team and before day’s end, I have a video conference with external partners to optimize our marketing efforts.
